Job Introduction

Trainee Quality Control Technician

Location: Gateshead (Hybrid - 3 days per week in-office)

Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Looking to start a meaningful career where you can make a difference? We’re offering a great opportunity to join our growing Technical Services team as a Trainee Report Quality Control Technician. No previous experience needed – just strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Full training provided.

What You’ll Be Doing: As a Trainee QC Technician, you’ll be responsible for checking asbestos survey reports to make sure they’re accurate, clearly written, and meet all the necessary standards. You’ll receive full support and structured training, including the BOHS P402 qualification – fully funded by Lucion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review survey reports and documentation for accuracy, formatting, grammar and terminology
  • Work with internal teams to resolve any errors or unclear information
  • Upload data to client portals and asbestos management systems
  • Maintain internal trackers and follow set procedures
  • Support the team in meeting deadlines and quality targetsLearn new skills and gradually take on more responsibility
