The Opportunity

Are you looking to develop your skill-set and join one of the fastest growing dental groups in the UK? We have an exciting new opportunity for a Trainee or Qualified Dental Nurse to join us at our Wellingborough practice.

Our Practice Team sits at the heart of our business and we firmly believe that being a Dental Nurse is a vocation – not just a job. As such, we are always looking for ways to invest in your continuous professional development.

Working hours:

You will be working 4 days a week from 7:45am to 6:30pm on a pro-rota basis.

For Trainee Nurses:

We will fund your Dental Nursing Qualification; this is a nationally recognised qualification leading to Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC). Registration fees, Indemnity cover and Continued Professional Development are also funded. The course can take up to 18 months to complete, but can be achieved earlier if you are focused and self-driven. Our focus is to create a structured programme that allows you to continually develop and achieve your career goals in a supportive environment using surgeries and equipment that are to the highest standard to assist in your learning.

All we ask is you stay with the business for at least 2 years following qualifying - we want to work with you and support your growth and development in your new role as a Qualified Dental Nurse.

For Qualified Nurses:

Your GDC registration fees will be funded and you will have access to full foundation clinical material from day one. This includes courses in Radiography and Implant Nurse training. Medical indemnity is provided along with funding for CPD courses. Our focus is to create a structured programme that allows you to continually develop. Our surgeries/equipment are to the highest standard to assist in your learning.

You will provide clinical support to dentists, hygienists and patients, assist with reception or any clerical duties as required and perform such other tasks as reasonably requested by your practice manager.

You will be joining a highly skilled team with these superb benefits:

  • Discounted dental treatment after 6 months service, extended to family after 12 months
  • Fully funded DBS checks
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme, your mental well-being matters to us!
  • CPD support and training with 24/7 access to the very best dental educators
  • Support from our People Team, Finance and other support teams should you ever need it
  • Auto enrolment into a pension after 3 months service
  • Career mobility and progression opportunities

What we are looking for:

  • Hep B vaccination will be required should you be successful
  • Hardworking, reliable and organised
  • Friendly and welcoming manner
  • Strong teamwork ability
  • Enthusiastic attitude
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written
  • Good initiative and can adapt quickly

Interested? We can’t wait to hear from you!
