Job summary

Livewell Southwest is recruiting for a full-time Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join NHS Plymouth Talking Therapies. You will deliver low-intensity CBT, conduct assessments, and participate in a structured training programme with Exeter University. Upon completion, you may qualify for a Band 5 post within the service.

Applicants should be prepared to work across a 7-day service, engage in CPD, and aim for BABCP/BPS registration on course completion.

Qualifications

• Academic level 5 qualification and psychology degree.
• Must not be enrolled on any other NHS funded course at start.
• Willing to undertake Exeter University PWP training.
• Registration with BABCP or BPS on completion will be pursued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver low intensity treatments for anxiety/depression under supervision.
• Attend PWP training programme with Exeter University.
• Maintain confidential patient records and CPD logs.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary NHS Talking Therapies service.
