Trainee Purchasing Assistant / Stores
£13ph, HD9, Mon-Thurs 7am - 5.15pm, T-P,


The role:
Our client is looking for a motivated and eager to learn Trainee Purchasing Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in purchasing.


The role will initially involve working in stores to gain hands-on knowledge of our products before transitioning into a trainee position within the purchasing department.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assisting in stores to familiarise yourself with stock and inventory processes
  • Supporting the purchasing team with order management and supplier communications
  • Learning to source materials, negotiate pricing, and process purchase orders
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating procurement systems
  • Developing an understanding of supply chain processes

Requirements:


  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Package:


  • 4 day week
  • 39 hours per week (Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:15 pm)
  • £13 per hour
  • Free onsite parking / main bus route
  • T-P
