Attega Group Ltd in Chelmsford is looking for a Trainee Pump Engineer to join our team. You will work alongside lead engineers to install, service, maintain, repair, test and commission pumps and related equipment.

This full‑time, permanent role includes full training and hands‑on experience with career progression opportunities. A Full UK driving licence is essential and you must be willing to travel to customer sites.

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Pump Engineerto join their team.

The main purpose of this Trainee Pump Engineer role is to work alongside the lead engineers to install, service, maintain, repair, test and commission pumps and associated equipment.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £29,000, depending on experience.

This role is Full‑time and permanent. The hours of work will be a 45 hour working week.

Reporting to the Operations Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Assist with pump servicing, repairs, installations, and maintenance.
• Assist with mechanical and basic electrical fault finding.
• Learn to diagnose and repair pump and motor faults.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Assist with testing and commissioning equipment.
• Complete service reports and maintenance records.
