We are excited to offer a number of full-time Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) roles across our Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust – NHS Talking Therapies teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a fully funded Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions, while working as part of a highly respected service that delivers evidence-based psychological support to people experiencing common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.
You will be based in one of our local Talking Therapies teams (Bury, Tameside or Stockport), combining academic study with direct clinical experience. Upon successful completion of the course, and gained registration with the BACP or BPS, you will be eligible to apply for a permanent qualified Band 5 PWP position within our service (subject to vacancies and satisfactory performance).
As a Trainee PWP, you will combine academic study with supervised clinical practice while completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions. You will deliver low-intensity CBT-based interventions to adults experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
