Trainee Production Buyer

The Role

We're excited to be supporting a leading retail marketing and production business in their search for a Trainee Production Buyer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who's keen to develop within purchasing, production, and supply chain management, while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage purchasing requests and requisitions in a timely and professional manner
  • Source and procure ad-hoc job items and materials requested by account managers
  • Coordinate monthly stock counts with supervisors and update systems accordingly
  • Raise purchase orders, check acknowledgements, and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor deliveries, chase suppliers, and provide updates to internal teams
  • Handle faulty goods/materials by arranging returns, credits, or replacements
  • Support production planning and estimating teams during busy periods
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and external partners
