Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial is recruiting a Trainee Process Operative in Tewkesbury. The role offers 37.5 hours per week across five shifts, with a starting rate of £14.61 per hour and increases as training milestones are met.

Full training and industry-recognised qualifications are provided, supporting a long‑term career in food manufacturing. This physically demanding position requires a reliable, methodical person who can follow procedures and work with hygiene and safety

Qualifications

• No prior production experience required.
• Must be able to perform manual handling.
• Physically demanding role with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely intake, control, and process products in a hygienic manufacturing environment.
• Prepare and operate machinery, including CIP equipment, in line with company standards and food safety regulations.
• Monitor hygiene, safety, and quality standards throughout production.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Support troubleshooting activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and follow all relevant procedures.
