Trainee Pre-Press Operative – Port Talbot

Ready to dive into the fast-paced world of print production? We’re offering a permanent role for an enthusiastic Pre-Press Operative with experience in Cylinda printing to join a vibrant team in Port Talbot. This is your chance to work hands-on with cutting-edge print technology, preparing artwork and driving production quality to the next level.

Salary: £35,000 per year

Shifts:

• Days: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Afternoons: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Shift rotation between day and afternoon shifts)

Your Mission

• Transform artwork into flawless print-ready files
• Act as the key communicator, liaising with customers and production teams to nail artwork approvals
• Take charge of print plates and print boxes to keep production running smoothly
• Manage digital assets by uploading and downloading artwork and proofs via FTP and client portals
• Keep detailed records, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
• Collaborate with leaders on new projects and trials that push the boundaries
• Stay ahead of deadlines and keep the production schedule on track
