Job description

This is a Trainee Photocopier Engineer role. You will be initially based in the workshop to learn about the products and then go on accompanied customer site visits with our Engineers and Delivery Drivers.

You will be supporting the field service operation by preparing and delivering new equipment (photocopiers), refurbishing second-hand equipment, and repairing customer's equipment where there is a problem or a fault.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in attending requests to repair, install, and maintain multi-functional network devices (MFDs) and other products, including software, supplied by Sharp and our dealers.
  • Support in refurbishing second-hand MFDs/products.
  • Liaise with other team members.
  • Support the field-based team both onsite and in the workshop.
  • Attend training courses as required.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed and the system is updated upon completion of tasks.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks to assist the operation of logistics and service support.
  • Manage stock as appropriate.
