Overview

Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the St Mary's Paediatric hospital pharmacy.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, healthcare professionals and Trust colleagues.
  • Dispense medication on outpatient prescriptions.
  • Stock ordering and management.
  • Invoicing and financing deliveries.
  • All other duties associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy.
Qualifications
  • NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course.
  • Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification.
  • Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate.
Experience/Skills
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality.
  • Ability to handle medications accurately.
  • Able to demonstrate self-motivation with good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Total Hours Contracted: 40

Working Pattern: Monday 9am - 6pm, Tuesday 9am - 6pm, Wednesday 9am - 6pm, Thursday 9am - 6pm, Friday 9am - 6pm
