Job summary

Rentokil Pest Control Technician is seeking a motivated individual to cover Devon and Cornwall with comprehensive training provided. The role offers a competitive base salary and an achievable OTE, along with a company vehicle, fuel card, uniform and RI Rewards.

Working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with potential overtime and salary progression. Full UK driving licence (2+ years, max 6 points) and GCSEs in Maths/English (C/4+) are preferred.

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years.
• GCSE Maths and English at level C/4+ is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect customer premises for signs of pests and risks.
• Tackle pest problems and remove evidence of pest activity.
• Advise customers on maintenance and hygiene to prevent infestations.
• Complete accurate reports after each visit.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional image.

The Role

Your role as a Pest Control Technician will involve covering a dedicated geographical area and providing support to our customers by resolving their pest issues.

Key responsibilities include:

• Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks.
• Swiftly tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
• Offering valuable advice to customers on the maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
• Completing accurate reports after every visit.
• Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times.

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at level C (Grade 4) or above is advantageous.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.
