Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic trainee Peri-operative Assistant to join the Day Surgery Theatre Suite, with Annex 21 training rate. The role covers theatres and recovery across multiple surgical specialties, including Maxillo Facial, ENT, General, Orthopaedic, Gynaecology, Urology, Ophthalmology and Plastic Surgery, and requires flexible Monday–Friday hours.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, with induction support from Clinical Educators, and

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to work across sites in Fife and in theatre and recovery settings.

Responsibilities

• Support peri-operative care within Day Surgery Theatre Suite and recovery areas.
• Work across multiple sites in Fife to meet service needs, Monday–Friday.
