Liberty Recruitment Group are excited to be partnering with our client, in the search for a Trainee Payroll Administrator, to join their experienced and friendly team, based on the outskirts of Southampton. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The main responsibility of this role is processing payroll in an accurate and timely fashion for a multitude of clients.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Ensure up-to-date and accurate payroll and pension data is maintained
  • Liaising with clients both via email and telephone
  • Complete HMRC returns
  • Provide payroll reports as required
  • Process BACS payments

Payroll experience would be desirable; however, you must be IT literate – including Excel, have excellent attention to detail, and be a good communicator.

As a person, you will be a strong team player, proactive and have the ability to meet strict deadlines.

In return, our client is offering a salary of circa £24k with some fantastic benefits.
