Job summary

North Oak Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Paraplanner in Leicestershire. The role focuses on supporting Financial Planners by gathering client information, preparing reports and ensuring a smooth client journey. Initial training precedes hybrid working, with ongoing development toward CII Diploma Level 4.

Candidates should have at least 2 years’ financial services admin experience and be on track to complete the Level 4 diploma. A strong compliance and client‑facing skillset is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a financial services administration role.
• Part qualification to Level 4 CII Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Educated to A level standard (or equivalent). Desirable degree in Finance, Economics or Business.

Responsibilities

• Own the advice case from engagement to client delivery, coordinating with the Financial Planner.
• Prepare initial meeting packs, authorities, risk profiles and client agreements.
• Produce suitability reports meeting FCA requirements and support the adviser team.
