Eden Rose is seeking a motivated Trainee Paraplanner in Swindon to join its growing financial planning team. You will support advisers and paraplanners, gathering client information and assisting with research to prepare suitability reports.

This is an excellent entry point for someone with IFA administration experience looking to develop technical paraplanning skills and progress within the business.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support Financial Advisers and Paraplanners with client cases and annual reviews.

• Liaise with clients, providers and colleagues to obtain outstanding information and resolve queries.

About the Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Trainee Paraplanner to join a growing financial planning business in Swindon.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in IFA administration or financial services who wants to develop their technical knowledge and progress into paraplanning. Working closely with Financial Advisers and experienced Paraplanners, you will gain exposure to pensions, investments, technical research and suitability reports while developing the skills needed to take on greater responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Financial Advisers and Paraplanners with client cases and annual reviews.
• Gather client information, valuations and policy details from providers.
• Assist with technical research, product comparisons and the preparation of suitability reports.
• Support new business applications and track cases through to completion.

About You

• Previous experience in IFA administration or financial services is desirable.
• An understanding of pensions and investments would be beneficial.

• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
• Keen to learn, develop technical expertise and build a long-term career in paraplanning.
• Interested in working towards the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, if not already studying.
