Trainee Paraplanner

Location: South Manchester (fully office based)

Salary: £30,000 DOE

Role Overview

You will support our Wealth Strategists by providing technical information and assisting Client Managers and advisers with draft reports. Your responsibilities include ensuring accurate client investment transactions, preparing client packs for review meetings, and ensuring all necessary information is available on time for smooth client service delivery.

Responsibilities

1. Attend client meetings with Wealth Strategists and create accurate meeting minutes documenting financial needs and objectives.
2. Maintain ongoing client relationships, keep clients informed, answer queries, and organize review meetings.
3. Conduct research and analyze products/services suitable for each client's financial situation, discussing solutions with the Wealth Strategist.
4. Prepare clear investment strategies, mandates, and recommendation reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for review.
5. Review client portfolios regularly, maintaining a system to assess holdings and changing priorities.
6. Utilize research and planning tools such as FEAnalytics, Cashcalc, and wrap platforms like Elevate, Transact, and Abdrn Wrap.
7. Ensure timely implementation of recommendations.
8. Keep up-to-date with industry, compliance, and regulatory developments.
9. Build productive relationships with colleagues and clients within and outside the business.
