Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a Trainee Optical Assistant at the Swaledale store. This part-time role offers 30 hours per week, including weekends, with training and professional development. You will confidently welcome customers and help them explore optical options while learning from experienced Opticians and Technicians.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Teamwork and collaboration.
• IT confidence and basic software use.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to adapt and develop in a retail environment.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and help customers in-store, delivering friendly service.
• Support day-to-day store operations and assist with tasks as needed.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to progress in the Specsavers career path.
