Job summary

Specsavers in Mexborough is looking for a friendly Trainee Optical Assistant to greet customers, help them choose frames and book eye tests. No prior experience needed; you’ll receive extensive training and mentorship from qualified Opticians and Technicians to grow in a supportive team.

Work pattern is 22.5 hours per week, 12:30pm–5:30pm, five days with weekend shifts. We offer pension auto-enrolment, Specsavers Perks, WeCare, Headspace, discounts, an extra paid birthday leave, and enhanced

• No experience required; passion and reliability preferred.
• Willingness to learn and develop in optical field.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes customers into store and explains products.

• Provides style advice and helps customers choose frames.
• Measures frames and assists with fittings.
