The main purpose of this role is to assist the Operations Manager with the daily operations such as stock control, liaising with suppliers and customers, to monitor and control costs related to food, labour, and other operational expenses and complete product / service costings for customers, promptly and accurately.
The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different departments. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
- Manage the daily functions of the business - stock controlling, liaising with suppliers, assisting with customer service.
- Prepare annual performance review and reevaluate processes
- Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed
- Identify and resolve operational issues, such as equipment malfunctions, supply shortages, or staff shortages
- Manage budget to align with goals of business - monitor and control costs related to food, labour, and other operational expenses.
- Complete product / service costings for customers, promptly and accurately
- Remain up to date with relevant regulations and standards, such as food safety laws, employment and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask
- Comfort working with multiple groups within business
