EFDSS propose un stage freelance pour un éducateur musical dans l'éducation folk, visant à développer des compétences en travaillant avec des jeunes handicapés. Le stage, encadré par des experts, est situé à Londres, offrant une rémunération de £55.40 par session. Un soutien continu est fourni tout au long du projet.
EFDSS is offering a freelance traineeship, from September 2025 to August 2026, for a musician wishing to develop their skills in folk music education and working with disabled young people. The trainee will work with leader Emmie Ward and tutor Nick Goode, as part of the Inclusive Folk tutor team. As we will be working with several education settings in North and West London, we expect the trainee to be based in, or in close proximity to, the Greater London Area.
This traineeship is part of EFDSS’ on-going commitment to developing good practice and skills in folk arts education. The trainee folk music educator will support the delivery whilst being provided with an opportunity to strengthen their teaching / leading skills. They will receive on-going support throughout the project from the EFDSS Education team.
The trainee music leader is also currently involved in Folk Beyond which is for Learning Disabled people over the age of 30 and takes place off-site on Sunday mornings and is funded separately.
