South West Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Trainee Production Mould Machine Technician in Poole. The role offers full training, a starting wage of £12.71 per hour and a 37.5-hour week with early finishes on Fridays.

You will learn to set up moulding machines, program machinery, service equipment and diagnose faults while developing skills for a long-term engineering career within a cable manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up moulding machines ready for production.
• Program machinery for different products.
• Service and maintain production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair machine faults.
• Set up and calibrate tooling and applicators.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Record maintenance work and machine repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Support continuous improvements in safety, quality and production efficiency.
• Assist with product assembly when required.
• Develop skills to train production operators on routine machine servicing.
