Job Title: Trainee Mortgage Advisor - Apprenticeship

This Trainee Mortgage Advisor position is offered on an Apprenticeship, including full support to achieve CeMap qualifications (CeMap 1,2 & 3) as part of your structured learning and development.

Location: The Acorn Group Head Office – Bromley Kent.

Salary: OTE: up to £35,000.00 per annum

Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:15am to 6pm, Fridays from 8:15am to 5:30pm

Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:

This is a telephone-based lead generation role, leveraging LRG client database to source financial services referral opportunities for a full range of prospective clients. The role will be targeted on the scheduling and completion of mortgage & protection appointments with Mortgage Scout Advisors.

Full training will be provided; ideal candidates will be driven, ambitious, and able to communicate to a high level of customer care to their clients. We are looking for candidates who are wanting to create a long-term career; you should be able to work to targets and deadlines.

This role offers a clear pathway for career progression, with the opportunity to become a fully qualified Mortgage Advisor within the business upon completion of training and development milestones.

Duties will include:

• Contact potential clients via phone, email, and other communication methods to introduce our mortgage services and schedule appointments.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments between clients and mortgage advisors, ensuring all necessary information is collected and communicated and clients are appraised of information/documentation requirements.
• Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and appointments in our CRM system and bespoke data sheets.
• Client servicing: Providing high standards of professional customer service at all times, ensuring approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual customer.
• Performance KPIs: Appointment booking and completion volumes and conversions, mortgage & protection sign-up volumes and conversions, ancillary and third-party product/advice opportunities generated.
