Job Title: Trainee Mortgage Advisor
Location: Aberdeen
Salary: Starting at £24,000 (OTE £26,500) - with salary increases upon completion of exams
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

About the Role

Department Overview

You\'ll be part of a team that supports clients through their mortgage journey, from initial enquiry to advisor appointment. The department handles inbound and outbound communications, qualifying leads, and ensuring clients receive expert whole-of-market mortgage advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound mortgage and protection enquiries professionally and efficiently
• Qualify clients by gathering relevant financial and personal information
• Book appointments with mortgage advisors for eligible clients
• Make outbound calls to existing clients to generate new mortgage appointments
• Nurture clients in the early stages of their mortgage journey
• Liaise with internal stakeholders including mortgage advisors, property staff, and senior managers
• Maintain accurate records and update CRM systems
• Request and review credit files for clients with credit issues
• Identify opportunities for referrals to other departments (e.g. legal, estate agency, investments)
