Trainee Metal Worker | Up to £15.59 per hour

Overview

As aTrainee Metal Worker, you'll likely consider yourself confident with basic hand tools and to have a generally practical mindset. The role will be based in a department within a large manufacturing plant, assisting in one of the processes.

The business is well established, have a great reputation within their sector and are known locally for being a good employer.

Owing to an increase in orders, the business is looking to recruit for several roles on night shift, with the potential for others on days.

Responsibilities

As aTrainee Metal Worker,yourdutiescould involve:

• Operating a selection metal working machines or supporting processes
• Specifically drilling / brazing / welding
• Processing steel to customers' requirements and tolerances
• Light maintenance of machines and ensuring that issues are amended or reported
• General inspection of your own work, ensuring standards are maintained
