What’s the role about?

We are looking for a talented Trainee Merchandiser to join our Womenswear Merchandising team, supporting with admin tasks. You will work alongside our Merchandising team and collaborate with our creative Product Developers and Designers to deliver balanced and exciting ranges for all areas of the Reiss Brand. Based at our Head Office, our Merchandise department makes commercially analytical recommendations and decisions.

Who you are

• Work experience in merchandising is desirable but not essential
• Previous retail experience is preferred
• Excellent administration skills and experience working with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Well organized with good time management skills
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills

What you’ll be doing

• Providing administrative support to the merchandising team by analyzing sales trends, monitoring deliveries, and maintaining stock levels
• Managing stock allocations from the warehouse, considering product type, store performance, and timing
• Raising and tracking all purchase orders
• Analyzing the performance of different ranges to conduct price analysis and generate best seller reports
• Liaising with suppliers weekly to ensure timely deliveries and communicating changes to buying and merchandising teams
