Qualifications

  • Experience with electronic case recording databases (1 year).
  • Providing administrative support in an advice-giving sector (2 years).

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Starting Salary: £25,752 (Band 2.2)

Fixed term contract to 31 March 2026 with possibility of extension

As a trainee adviser you will be part of the Mental Health & Money Advice Service team that offers holistic money advice to clients who are experiencing both poor mental health and financial difficulties.

What we ask for from you:

  • Educated to at least GCSE level and have obtained at least English and Mathematics Grades A-C or equivalent.
  • Must be willing to undertake prescribed training in Debt, Mental Health & Welfare Benefits. This will require a minimum of 1 training course per month.
  • At least 1 years’ experience of working with electronic Case Recording databases.
  • At least 2 years’ recent experience providing administrative support in an advice-giving sector.
  • Well-developed IT skills- comfortable using Microsoft Office packages and bespoke databases.
  • Ability to demonstrate alignment with MindWise’s core values of Passion, Respect, Empathy, Togetherness, Openness & Transparency.
