Job summary
CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is seeking a Trainee Medical Field Service Engineer to support hospitals across the UK. You will receive full product and technical training and develop specialist skills within the medical sector.
The role is field-based in the North West with regular travel to Scotland and London, and involves installing, servicing and repairing equipment in hospital environments. Overtime is paid and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical or electromechanical equipment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission medical equipment and systems.
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- Support electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
- Demonstrate equipment to customers and explain operation.
- Build strong relationships with hospital staff and other customers.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records.
- Work alongside experienced engineers to develop technical knowledge.
