Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in media sales. As a Sales Executive, you will be trained to sell across both print and digital advertising for our marketing leading consumer magazine and website.

We also run a series of live exhibitions across the UK, offering great potential for cross-selling as you gain experience.

We’re looking for someone highly energetic and motivated who can quickly understand our market. The role reports to the Sales Director.

Trainee Media Sales Vacancy Specification

Build It is the leading self-build & renovation magazine in the UK, targeted at consumers seeking to create their dream home through new builds or major renovations. Our readers are high spenders, and our advertisers are high-end product and service providers. Despite being a consumer brand, our readers' spending power is comparable to B2B media audiences.

We have invested heavily in our brand and team, and Build It magazine has recently moved from 3rd to 1st place in ABC audited circulation figures.

We believe in creating an excellent working environment to maximize individual and business growth. Responsibilities:
  • Managing an existing client base who already advertise.
  • Developing new business primarily via telephone, also via email and face-to-face meetings.
  • Selling classified advertising, email promotions, and web advertising.
  • Collaborating with sales and editorial teams to enhance the brand.
  • Representing Build It at live exhibitions and at the Build It Awards Ceremony.
