Junior Mechanical Fitter / Service Engineer (Full Training)

Workshop and Home based with some stays away, commutable from High Wycombe, Oxford, Reading, Watford, Slough, and surrounding areas.

Are you from a Mechanical or Hands-on background with Installation, Service, Maintenance, Fitting, or Assembly experience looking for a field-based opportunity to be heavily mentored and trained? You will work towards becoming a product expert, with great earning potential through consistent overtime, and career progression.

This is a great opportunity for a mechanical engineer to be field-based, heavily trained in bespoke machinery, advance their career, and increase earnings with excellent company benefits.

The company has over 110 employees, has innovated its product range, recently adding Raspberry Pi remote systems, and is expanding its team.

This role suits someone from a Mechanical or Hands-on background with Installation, Service, Maintenance, Fitting, or Assembly experience seeking a field-based, mentored, and training-focused position with career growth and earning potential.

The Role:

  • Maintenance, Installation, and some Service works on Education sites such as Schools and Universities.
  • Home-based with 1-2 nights away per week, with guaranteed overtime throughout the year.
  • 40 hours per week, with overtime paid at 1.5x for hours between 40-50, and double for hours above 50.
  • Pre-Booked Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) paid at 8 hours overtime (typically takes 3-4 hours).
  • OEM Training on product range.

The Person:

  • UK Drivers License.
