Job description

Job Title: Trainee Mechanical Engineer - Cambridge Area

Salary: £25,000 - £26,500

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm (37 hours)

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out both PPM and reactive maintenance work.
  • Ensure the continued and efficient operation of plant rooms and all associated equipment within the site, and report any issues to the Mechanical Supervisor.
  • Manage your workload using mobile maintenance software.
Key Requirements
  • Some experience in Mechanical maintenance.
  • The ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement solutions across various plant systems, including Steam, Water, and AHU.
  • An enthusiastic attitude towards learning and developing new skills.
