Trainee Maths Teacher – Braintree

Are you ready to use your STEM degree to make a difference in young people’s lives? We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Maths Teacher to join our thriving and supportive secondary school in Braintree.

As a Trainee Maths Teacher, you will be enrolled on a classroom-based Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme based right here at our academy. As part of one of the largest school trusts in the country, and in partnership with Ark Teacher Training, our programme is designed to equip you with everything you need to become an exceptional educator.

Programme Start: September 2025
Qualification: PGCE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Specialism: Maths (STEM Degree required)

From day one, you’ll begin developing your teaching practice in a real classroom environment, learning from experienced professionals and making an immediate impact as a Trainee Maths Teacher.
