The School and Role

You will be joining a successful and forward-thinking secondary school in Portsmouth that works closely with a leading teacher training provider to deliver a fully supported, in-school training programme. You will:

Support the teaching of Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4

Be part of a fully funded School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme

Work closely with experienced mentors and subject leaders

Have protected time for training, planning, and professional development

Earn while you train with a structured pathway to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

This is an exciting opportunity to gain in-school experience while receiving expert support and training.

Requirements

We would love to hear from you if you have:

A degree in Mathematics or a related subject (minimum 2:2 classification)

A desire to inspire young learners and pursue a long-term career in teaching

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Eligibility to work in the UK

Previous experience in education is desirable but not essential.
