A major UK ports operator is seeking a Marine Pilot to ensure the safe navigation of vessels through the Humber Estuary. The role involves liaising with port control and providing expertise in local maritime conditions. Candidates must have a valid STCW II/2 Certificate of Competency and strong communication skills. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marine Pilot to join our team operating on the dynamic and challenging waters of the Humber Estuary. As a Marine Pilot, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe navigation of vessels to and from ports along the estuary, including Grimsby, Immingham, Hull, Goole and the river Trent. Our Humber ports handle over 60m tonnes of cargo annually spanning Biomass, containers, construction materials and ro-ro amongst others, this business is supported by our Humber pilotage team who carry out approximately 14,000 ship movements through the Humber Estuary.
