Position: Trainee Management Accountant + AAT Study

Location: Manchester City Centre

This role offers a pathway from a Trainee to producing full sets of management accounts within 3 years.

The Financial Controller has experienced this journey himself; as a Trainee, you’ll gain exposure to all aspects of transactional finance. As you progress through your AAT, he will ensure you get the relevant experience for each level of AAT.

You will work for a division of a larger group based in Spinningfields, sharing an office with your team. There are internal application opportunities before roles are advertised externally, following a successful track record.

The company's ethos is focused on succession planning and future-proofing. As you advance, there are opportunities for further hiring at a junior level following the same career path.

Study support is provided, including options for day release or distance learning, with time allocated during working hours. There is a dedicated study space in the office coffee shop.

Upon completing AAT, discussions about further qualifications such as ACCA or CIMA will be considered. Currently, the focus is on supporting your basic accounting skills in a conducive environment.
