Trainee Management Accountant – Middlewich – Permanent Role

Shift: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (or equivalent)

Salary: £25,500-£27,500 PA (reviewable dependent on experience)

Silver Arrow require a Trainee Management Accountant to work for a prestigious transport company based in Middlewich. Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented individual, looking for a new role that offers progression and the opportunity to be involved across multiple areas of the business?

Your Role:

* Raise & support with the sales invoicing process to ensure billing is done accurately and in a timely manner.
* Business support with credit control, ensuring overdue debts are regularly chased across all businesses.
* Assist with preparation of weekly payroll, with relevant submissions to bank and authorities
* Assistance with purchase ledger, ensuring all invoices are receiving and processed in timely manner.
* Preparation of bank reconciliations as required, ensuring all cash is allocated correctly.
* Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to the Financial Controller.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company objectives.
* Assist in ensuring control and compliance of all accounting and finance procedures within the business.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A relevant degree or school qualification is preferred.
* Understanding of reporting tools and their importance in providing real time data to the wider business.
