Orona’s activities focus on the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernization of lifts, escalators, moving ramps, and walkways. We are seeking Lift Engineers interested in progressing to become NVQ4 qualified Testers. We will provide all necessary training, including NVQ4 and technical training within the company. As a qualified Tester, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring customers understand builders work drawings and site preparations
  • Completing site surveys
  • Visiting sites prior to installation and meeting with site representatives
  • Updating method statements and conducting risk assessments for safety
  • Managing technical aspects of installation
  • Providing on-site support and communication
  • Delivering training and guidance throughout installation, testing, commissioning, and handover
  • Applying technical knowledge of lift control systems and electrical systems
  • Adjusting and testing lifts on-site to ensure safety and compliance
