Job summary

Haven is seeking enthusiastic Trainee Lifeguards in the United Kingdom to join our friendly team. This role offers full-time, part-time or seasonal hours with training provided to develop lifeguard skills and ensure a safe, enjoyable swimming environment for guests.

You’ll learn pool safety, assist guests, and gain certification while working in a supportive, inclusive setting. The position pays £12.71 per hour and includes company perks and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool swimmers and enforce safety rules.

Position: Trainee Lifeguard

Key Responsibilities

• Learn the lifeguard ropes,we’llteach you how to handle everything from pool safety to first aid, soyou’reready for anything!
• You’llkeep an eye on swimmers, respond quickly to any incidents, and ensure a safe, fun environment for all.
• Spread the fun providing excellent customer service,assistingguests with inquiries and concerns.

Requirements

• PreviousLifeguard experience is valued but not essential; we provide training.
• Ready to learn, stay alert and respond confidently in any situation.
• Friendly and approachable attitude withgood communicationskills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Proficient in swimming

• Jump/dive into deep water.
• Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds.
• Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water.
• Tread water for 30 seconds.
• Surface dive to the floor of the pool.
• Climb out unaided withoutaladderorstepsand where the pool design permits.

This opportunity requires the new candidate to undergo, and satisfactorily complete, an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting work.
