Location: Reighton Gap, North Yorkshire YO14 9SH GBR

Position: Trainee Lifeguard

Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Seasonal

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Join our team at Haven as a Trainee Lifeguard and help create a safe, fun-filled swimming environment for our guests!

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to train as Lifeguards. No prior experience necessary, as we provide comprehensive training.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn pool safety, first aid, and rescue skills.
• Monitor swimmers, respond to incidents, and ensure safety.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and concerns.

Requirements

• No previous Lifeguard experience required; training provided.
• Ability to learn quickly, stay alert, and respond confidently.
• Friendly, approachable, with good communication skills.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Swimming Proficiency Requirements

• Jump/dive into deep water.
• Swim 50 metres in under 60 seconds.
• Swim 100 metres front and back in deep water.
• Tread water for 30 seconds.
• Surface dive to the pool floor.
• Climb out unaided where possible.

This role requires completion of an Enhanced DBS check before starting.
