Trainee Lettings Negotiator

At Allen & Harris, part of the Connells Group, we're looking for a highly motivated Lettings Administrator/Trainee Negotiator to support our team in Chippenham. As a Letting Administrator/Negotiator, you will manage office administration accurately and efficiently in a professional manner within a busy customer-facing environment.

Key responsibilities

The main purpose of this role is to manage move-ins, including creating tenancy paperwork, liaising with tenants to complete referencing quickly, ensuring safety certificates are in place, and assisting tenants and landlords with queries. Responsibilities also include answering calls and walk-in enquiries, updating the website and window displays, touting, arranging viewings, property visits, and outbound calls to book viewings.

Skills and experience required

  • Experience in Customer Service or similar administrative roles
  • Customer-focused with comfort in client-facing roles
  • Resilient, positive, numerate, and detail-oriented
  • Organised with ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen interest in learning and industry updates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literate (MS Office, internet, email systems)
  • Full UK driving license and own car
