Fieldfisher invites you to join its Business Services Centre in Belfast on the Trainee Legal PA Programme, commencing 31 August 2027. You will gain practical experience, structured training and exposure to high-quality work across a leading European law firm.

You’ll rotate through varied teams, receiving mentoring and a formal training plan to develop the skills needed to support lawyers and partners across multiple practice areas.

Responsibilities

• Diary management and preventing diary clashes
• Arrange meetings for Partners, Lawyers and clients
• Coordinate business travel and webinar arrangements
• File management and electronic filing
• Mailbox management and client communications
• Typing to support document preparation
• Take messages from clients and pass to the relevant Lawyer
• Work with document production and practice administration teams
• Submit invoices with the billing team
• Prepare draft letters, emails and presentations
• Open new clients and support AML processes
• Collaborate with Marketing to upload content on website/intranet
• Assist Lawyers with business development and bids
