An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Lecturer in Health and Science to join our Health Education and Foundation Learning team reporting to our Curriculum Manager. The successful applicant must be able to deliver biology for healthcare across a wide range of levels within the FE sector. Experience of working within a clinical background would also be beneficial.

The ideal candidate should have substantial industry experience and be enthusiastic about teaching and learning. No prior teaching experience is required – just a passion for your field and a desire to make a difference. The team's purpose is to equip our students with the skills, knowledge and attributes required to navigate the challenges and opportunities in learning, life and work.

As a Trainee Health and Science Lecturer with Stockton Riverside College you will bring your industry expertise into the classroom to inspire and develop the next generation of learners, while undertaking a fully funded teacher training qualification alongside your teaching duties. Responsibilities will include planning and delivering lessons, assessing learner progress, and supporting students to achieve their goals, all while developing your own teaching skills through structured training and mentoring. You will also be required to complete all mandatory college training as part of your continuous professional development.
