Trainee Learning Support Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for Trainee Learning Support Assistants who are patient, dedicated and energetic to work in our Primary schools in Yatton and the surrounding areas.


We have schools who are looking for teaching assistants who can work part to full time in October 2025.


The daily rate starts from 90 a day PAYE and is negotiable and dependent on experience.



Responsibilities


  • Support teaching staff in primary school settings.

  • Assist with pupil learning activities and behaviour management under supervision.

  • Engage with pupils to promote a positive learning environment.

  • Help with safeguarding and classroom routines as directed by school staff.



Requirements / Qualifications


  • Experience working with children (preferable).

  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidence when working with children.

  • Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping children and willing to learn on the job.
