Job summary

Tetra Tech Europe is seeking Trainee Leakage Engineers for permanent, full‑time roles in Wales. You will join field and office teams delivering leakage detection, monitoring and repair activities across regional contracts.

The role includes field investigations, data capture, support for excavations, and electronic reporting, with an allocated company van and full training. In the short term you will develop core leakage skills and KPI delivery; over time you may progress to senior leakage

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Prior field experience desirable.
• Foundation training in water hydraulics desirable.
• Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations and leakage detection activities.
• Capture pressure and flow data and support data logging.
• Assist with excavations and field measurements.
• Complete electronic reporting and contribute to regulatory targets.
• Work as part of a multiperson site crew and liaise with clients.
