Job summary

Tetra Tech seeks Trainee Leakage Engineers for permanent, full-time roles in Wales to support leakage reduction programmes. You will be part of multi‑disciplinary teams that include site survey crews and office specialists, delivering leakage detection, monitoring and repair activities across regional contracts.

You will conduct field investigations, capture pressure and flow data, support excavations, complete electronic reporting and contribute to regulatory targets, with a company van

Qualifications

• Expected: full UK driving licence.
• Desirable: prior field experience, foundation training in water network hydraulics and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations and pressure/flow data capture.
• Support leakage detection, monitoring and repair activities.
• Complete electronic reporting and contribute to regulatory targets.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams in Wales on regional contracts.
• Maintain safety standards and accurate data recording.
