HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Lab Technician for a busy site in Castle Cary. No lab experience is required as full training is provided. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; a positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong attention to detail are essential.

You will join an experienced team, assist with lab testing, sampling and analysis of raw materials to maintain quality and compliance standards. Driving licence is required due to location.

Responsabilités

• Assisting with daily laboratory analysis and preparation.
• Preparing chemical dilutions.
• Registering raw material deliveries using computer software.
• Preparing samples and carrying out extractions.
• Assisting with chemical analysis of raw materials.
• Carrying out NIR analysis following training.
• Maintaining high cleaning and hygiene standards within the laboratory.
• Assisting with equipment checks and control charts.
• Monitoring laboratory stock and inventory.
• Managing raw material and finished product sample storage.
• Completing shift reports and maintaining accurate records.

• Rate of pay: £13.52 per hour (overtime rate available)
• Job type: Temporary (with opportunity to go permanent)
• Working hours: 40 hours per week on rotating shifts

Rotating Shifts:

• 6am-2pm, Monday-Friday
• 12pm-8pm, Monday-Friday
