About Us

Westone Housing Ltd is a building and property conversion and repair company based in Peterborough. We carry out property reinstatement and rebuild services in the insurance industry, as well as conversions and improvements in residential and commercial property markets.

The Role

We are looking for a Trainee or Junior Buildings Insurance Validation Surveyor to support our growth. The successful candidate will train alongside experienced Surveyors, Project Managers, and Building Surveyors. There are opportunities for further training and qualifications in surveying and insurance, with career progression towards Senior Surveyor or Project Management roles.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Visiting damaged properties, scoping, and estimating required works.
• Submitting validation reports and estimates via online databases.
• Advising clients on cash settlements for repairs if they choose not to use Westone.
• Providing technical support to Project Managers.
• Conducting site visits to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Updating the office on visit progress and potential issues.
