Qualifications

  • Sales Ledger experience including bank receipt allocations and reconciliations.
  • Strong organisation skills.
  • Good level of IT skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to investigate and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of customer invoicing accurately and timely.
  • Identify and report missing customer POs regularly.
  • Take initiative to resolve invoicing process delays.
  • Responsibility for bank receipt allocations and credit notes.
  • Ensure minimal un-invoiced work to optimize cash flow.

Working Hours - Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
Salary - Up to £24,000 per year dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Invoicing Administrator to join a well-established and growing business based in Stoke on Trent. You will be directly employed working within the Finance department and reporting to the Credit Control Manager.

Full Job Description

• Delivery of customer invoicing together with appropriate supporting information on an accurate and timely basis to our UK and International clients through various client systems and processes
• Identify and report missing customer POs to the business on a regular basis
• Take initiative to resolve any circumstances that are holding up the invoicing process and liaise/ co-ordinate with other departments to achieve a positive resolution for the business
• You will have responsibility for bank receipt allocations/credit notes & sale ledger reconciliation
• Ensure that work not yet invoiced is kept to a minimum in order to optimise cash flow
• Meet deadlines as set and agreed with the Team Manager.

Minimum Requirements
