Job description

Isle of Wight Jobs have been instructed by a large and highly respected financial services organisation to recruit for a Trainee Insurance Broker.

This dynamic and expanding business puts the wellbeing of their employees at the forefront of all their activities and with a low turnover of staff and high retention rates they are seen as an employer of choice in their industry.

The successful candidate should have previous experience within a client/customer facing environment such as banking, financial services, retail management or administrative services.

You should be able to demonstrate a desire to become an Insurance Professional and a willingness to participate in Professional Development studies (i.e Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) qualifications)

Youl will also be asked to show that you have demonstrated enthusiasm and pride in maintaining a high standard of work in your previous employment.

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Proven experience in delivering the highest standards of customer service
  • Experience in liaising with third parties and customers
  • The ability to pick up new skills quickly
  • A passion for or ongoing professional development
  • Proven experience of multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
  • A confident and positive outlook on life and work
  • Superb computer skills
