Our Associate Client Advisor Program is supported by our training provider, BPP, which offers expert insurance training and support, alongside an apprenticeship qualification that includes the Cert CII certification and a Level 3 Insurance Practitioner qualification.

The role: Associate Client Advisor / Trainee Insurance Broker

  1. We recruit for potential, not industry experience. We seek individuals who aspire to be leading contributors to our business and who can embrace the opportunity to complete our apprenticeship funded training program and attain chartered insurance qualifications.
  2. This role offers a superb opportunity to launch an insurance career within a sustainable and exciting industry, providing a platform for a long-term insurance career.
  3. As an Associate Client Advisor in one of our energetic, customer-focused teams, and after receiving initial training and support, you will be responsible for servicing a dedicated portfolio of clients. This involves managing renewals, invoicing, producing new quotes, upselling/cross-selling additional products, and handling client queries.
  4. Our enterprise businesses operate from modern, future-ready offices with easy access via car or public transport.
  5. This is a permanent, full-time role.
  6. You will begin your employment on our 18-month apprenticeship program. Upon completion, you will become a Client Advisor.

We will count on you to:

  1. Provide excellent client service across all aspects of account management, ensuring client needs are identified and met according to service standards.
  2. Communicate with clients daily via phone and email platforms.
  3. Utilize insurance broking systems regularly.
  4. Manage a client portfolio, understanding their needs and providing suitable products and solutions to mitigate risks.
  5. Complete all tasks timely to ensure client satisfaction.
  6. Demonstrate adaptability to support colleagues in completing critical business tasks.
  7. Develop strong relationships with insurer partners through regular contact and liaison to better serve clients.
  8. Through training, coaching, and mentoring, gain a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance offered and stay updated on new technical and product developments.

What you need to have:

  1. Previous experience in a client/customer-facing role, which could be from retail, hospitality, food & beverage, or similar environments.
  2. Excellent customer service skills.
  3. Right to work in the UK or Republic of Ireland (no visa sponsorship provided).
  4. Minimum 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4, including English and Maths.
  5. Good attention to detail.
  6. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  7. Ability to work independently.
